The 100 Girlfriends Valentine's Themed Pop-up Shop Announced

Have you ever wondered why every time February 14 rolls around you have to either plow through cash like a kid in a candy store or hole up in your room because you’re forever alone? Well, depending on who you ask, it’s either because a certain Christian married people who weren’t allowed to be and got unsubscribed from life. Or, like a lot of others, it’s a Pagan holiday that’s been incorporated into daily life. Either way, Valentine’s Day is a way to celebrate consumerism and love in all its forms. The more love one has in life, the better. And no person knows that fact better than Rentarou Aijou of the hit series The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY, Love You! and, if you’re missing that show, you’re in luck because The 100 Girlfriends Valentine’s themed pop-up shop is on its way!

The pop-up shop is scheduled to run from February 14 to February 25 and will be held at the event space in Shinjuku’s Marui Men (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo). Featuring the girls of the Rentaru family in maid attire, the event has a waifu for everyone! With limited edition merchandise to photo ops with life-sized cutouts of the Rentarou family, there’s enough to fill the void of an empty Valentine’s Day. After all, dates are expensive and last only a few hours, but waifu merch goes with you to the grave. Knowing that, why not pick up any of the following;

  • Maid Style Acrylic Stands – ¥1760 (~12 USD)
  • Tin Badges – ¥550 (~ 3.50 USD)
  • Maid Style Acrylic Plates – ¥3300 (~ 22 USD)
  • Key-chains – ¥770 (~ 5.20 USD)
  • Chibi Acrylic Stands – ¥770 (~ 5.25 USD)
  • Acrylic Offering Box – ¥3630 (~ 24.50 USD)

All purchases over ¥2000 (~ 13.50 USD) come with a free trading card of the Rentarou family girls. So, why not skip the dinner dates, head over to The 100 Girlfriends Valentine’s themed pop-up shop, and support your favorite waifu?

The 100 Girlfriends aired on Crunchyroll as part of their 2023 Fall season and is described as such:
Rentaro Aijo was rejected 100 times in middle school. He visits a shrine and prays for better luck in high school. The God of Love appears and promises that he’ll soon meet 100 people he’s destined to date. But there’s a catch—once destiny introduces someone to him, the two must happily love each other. If they don’t, they’ll die. What will befall Rentaro and his 100 girlfriends in high school?
