The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse Season 2 Announced

The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse is officially getting a season 2 TV anime. The announcement was made a at the Anime Japan 2024 event, and the sequel is scheduled to premiere in October 2024. The anime is currently airing its second cour in Japan – with only the first one streaming on Netflix for now. Telecom Animation Film is in charge of the animation, with Maki Kodaira as the director.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse – Season 2 Anime Announcement

Four Knights of the Apocalypse is the direct sequel to Nakaba Suzuki’s The Seven Deadly Sins series. The manga began serialization in 2021 immediately after the original series concluded. Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English, describing the story:
In the world of The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse, Percival has always lived with his grandfather on the idyllic, remote God’s Finger. And though Percival loves the simple life, he longs for adventure. That is, until adventure comes knocking at his door, tearing away everything he’s ever known and leaving him alone in the world. Now Percival has no choice but to go out into the world and see what it holds…after all, it’s his destiny!

The original The Seven Deadly Sins manga ran in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine from October 2012 to March 2020, getting collected into 41 volumes. Its anime adaptation got four TV anime seasons and two movies. A-1 Pictures animated the first two seasons and the Prisoners in the Sky movie, while studio DEEN took over for the other two seasons and the Cursed by Light movie.
