Type-Moon (stylized as TYPE-MOON) is releasing the English version of the Witch on the Holy Night visual novel in December 2022. The fully-voiced game will be available for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. In addition to English and Japanese language options, Witch on the Holy Night visual novel will also support Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese translations. A new visual was also revealed:
The visual novel is also getting a movie adaptation produced by studio ufotable. The studio previously worked on other Type-Moon titles – the Fate series and The Garden of Sinners films.

Witch on the Holy Night is a visual novel written by Kinoko Nasu and developed by Type-Moon. It was first released in Japan on April 12, 2012. Hideyuki Fukasawa did the composition for the visual novel while Hirokazu Koyama did the illustrations. The game casts Haruka Tomatsu as the protagonist Aoko Aozaki. Other cast members include:
- Kana Hanazawa as Alice Kuonji
- Yuusuke Kobayashi as Soujuurou Shizuki
- Chika Anzai as Kojika Kumari
- Toshinari Fukamachi as Tobimaru Tsukiji
- Shohei Kajikawa as Housuke Kinomi
Witch on the Holy Night is part of the renowned Nasuverse which features all of Kinoko Nasu’s works. The visual novel is partly connected to Tsukuhime as Aoko Aozaki was a minor character in the said visual novel. Aoko Aozaki’s family was also briefly mentioned in the trilogy movie Fate/Heaven’s Feel.
