In addition to the trailer, the Ya Boy Kongming (stylized as Ya Boy Kongming!) anime also revealed a new visual:
Ya Boy Kongming is based on a comedy, slice-of-life manga written by Yuto Yotsuba and illustrated by Ryo Ogawa. The manga started serialization in 2019 and currently has over 70 chapters. Kodansha initially published it on its Comics Days website but later moved it to Weekly Young Magazine. The story follows Zhuge Liang Kongming, who reincarnates into modern-day Tokyo. Kodansha is also publishing it in English.
General of the Three Kingdoms, Kongming had struggled his whole life, facing countless battles that made him into the accomplished strategist he was. So on his deathbed, he wished only to be reborn into a peaceful world…and was sent straight to modern-day party-central, Tokyo! Can even a brilliant strategist like Kongming adapt to the wild beats and even wilder party people?!
