The original racing anime Highspeed Etoile has announced additional cast members. They include Hikari Hinata (Yurie Funato) and Akari Kuzuryu (Shu Uchida) who are the virtual idol duo Prima Stella.
Yurie Funato was previously a member of the voice actress idol group Purely Monster. She has voiced several supporting roles in anime titles such as The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter, Ishuzoku Reviewers, and A Centaur’s Life. She will also voice the main character Umika Konohoshi in the upcoming anime Hoshikuzu Telepath.
Meanwhile, Shu Uchida is known for her multiple roles in the 2016 Kantai Collection game where she voiced Warspite, Ark Royal, Gambier Bay, Perth, and Mikura. She also voices Crystal Garson in How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?, Fujiwara in Asobi Asobase, Machiko Sugawara in PuraOre! Pride of Orange, and Mia Taylor in the second season of Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club. She also debuted her own VTuber in February this year.
King Amusement Creative, Good Smile Company, Yostar, and Super Formula are involved in the production of the anime. Mangaka Takuya Fujima, known for his original character designs on anime titles such as ViViD Strike!, R-15, and Extreme Hearts, is credited as the original character designer for the series. The rest of the cast for the anime includes:

- Ayaka Suwa as Yoran Liu

The Highspeed Etoile anime is set in the near future, where a new generation of racing “NEX Race” has been developed. Cars are now able to reach a maximum speed of 500 kilometers per hour. The main character, Rin Rindoh, is described as someone who has dreamt of being a ballet dancer, but a breakdown later in her life caused her to fail to reach that profession. Since then, she has been living in her grandmother’s house as a shut-in, until one day she is introduced to the world of racing.
