Voice actor Junya Enoki is set to make his official acting debut in the upcoming live-action film I Still Want to Dream. While the voice actor had previously appeared as an extra or student in live-action films, this will be his first time portraying a named character with a major role.
I Still Want to Dream is an original film directed and written by Sena Ryo, a 20-year-old female college student who won the grand prize of the second “Hulu U35 Creators Challenge” in 2022. As the winner, Ryo was awarded the opportunity to direct a new Hulu original production. The film is anticipated to center around the life of a female college student who is also an aspiring manga artist. Enoki will portray Ida Sosuke, an inquisitive manga reader and writer whose curiosity and enthusiasm often land him in trouble. The film will premiere on Hulu on July 26.
Joining Enoki in the leading cast is actress Nakano Arisa, known for her role in the film Perfect Days. The supporting cast comprises Hinako Kikuchi, Takumi Nishigaki, Kotona Minami, Yoshihara Hina, Tomoya Maeno, Oshiro Maeda, Rikiya Imaizumi, and Yuki Furukawa.
Junya Enoki is a Japanese voice actor from Tokyo who is currently affiliated with Atomic Monkey. Some of his most prominent roles include the protagonist Yuji Itadori in Jujutsu Kaisen, Pannacotta Fugo in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and Nasa Yuzaki in Tonikawa: Over The Moon For You. He is currently voicing Masamune Okumura in 2.5 Dimensional Seduction, Johaim in the second season of Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World, and Guinness in Bye Bye, Earth.
