The previously announced In the Clear Moonlit Dusk anime adds two additional voice cast members:
- Aya Yamane as Nobara Tone
- Momoko Seto as Kotobuki Hibiya
East Fish Studio is animating the series starring Rei Ichinomiya as Yoi Takiguchi and Ryota Suzuki as Kohaku Ichimura.
Yusuke Maruyama is directing the series, Ayumu Hisao is writing the series composition, Yuki Fukuda is designing the character, and Tsubasa Ito is composing the music.
Mika Yamamori wrote and illustrated the manga series from which the anime was adapted. The manga began its serialization in Dessert in July 2020 and currently has 9 volumes in circulation.
Kodansha USA is publishing the series in English with 8 volumes available. They describe the story as follows:
Yoi Takiguchi has long legs, a deep voice, and a handsome face…in other words, Yoi is such a good-looking guy that most people don’t notice or care that she is, in fact, a girl. Indeed, she’s had the nickname “Prince” for as long as she can remember. That is, until she met Ichimura-senpai…the only person who really seemed to see her for herself. To her surprise, she’s not sure how to handle this new relationship, especially when her newfound friend is a prince himself (and a guy prince, at that).
