Wash It All Away anime unveiled a teaser trailer, which features a January 2026 premiere on Wednesday. Sayumi Suzushiro voices the main character Wakana Kinme.
Studio Okuruto Noboru is animating the series with Kenta Onishi as director. Toko Machida is in charge of the series composition and the script, Azuma Tozawa is designing the characters, and Eri Chichibu is composing the music. The series previously revealed a summer visual.
Wash It All Away (Kirei ni Shite Moraemasu ka) is a manga series by Mitsuru Hattori. It was serialized in Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine from July 2017 to June 2023.
Square Enix is publishing the series in English and they describe it as follows:
For two years, Wakana Kinme has run a laundry service in the seaside resort town of Atami. Kinme Cleaning is a well-loved business, and Atami residents admire Wakana’s devotion to her trade. She builds a fulfilling life making friends with the locals and visiting hot springs. Although Wakana has no knowledge of her own past, her cleaning services safeguard memories imbued in customers’ precious items.
