Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube Cour 2 revealed a new trailer, introducing the theme songs ahead of its January 7, 2026 premiere. The opening theme song is “ERASE” by THE ORAL CIGARETTES, while the ending song is “MAGICAL” by Ayumu Imazu. You can hear both in the trailer below.
Junichi Toki joined the voice cast as Nube (childhood), with Yu Shimamura joining as Ms. Minako. You can also see the visual for the second cour below.
The original Jigoku Sensei Nube manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1993 to 1999, written by Shou Makura and illustrated by Takeshi Okano. It sold over 29 million copies and inspired multiple adaptations, including:
- A 49-episode TV anime (1996, Toei Animation)
- A 10-episode live-action drama (2014)
- Several anime films
The franchise also includes sequels:
- Jigoku Sensei Nube Neo (2014–2018, Grand Jump, Shonen Saikyo)
- Jigoku Sensei Nube S (2018–2021, Shonen Saikyo)
- Spin-off: Reibaishi Izuna: The Spiritual Medium (2007–2016)
Another new series by Makura and Okano, titled Jigoku Sensei Nube Kai, started in Saikyo Jump on May 2, 2025.
