You and I Are Polar Opposites Season 2 anime revealed the second trailer, introducing the opening theme song “nekojarashi” by 7co. The second season was announced on March 29, and it is set to premiere on July 5, 2026. Studio Lapin Track (Undead Girl Murder Farce) is animating.

You and I Are Polar Opposites was originally published as a one-shot on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ in January 2021, before getting serialized in the same website starting in May 2022. It has been collected into a total of eight volumes as of March 4, 2025. The manga is also available on the MANGA Plus website, which describes its story:
