ONE PIECE is set to become the first Japanese anime franchise to receive a permanent exhibition at the Grévin Museum in Paris, France.
Opening on June 26, the new attraction will bring the Straw Hat Pirates to the museum’s famous wax figure collection through an immersive Paris-inspired cabaret setting. All ten members of the Straw Hat crew will be featured, allowing visitors to experience scenes with Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky, Brook and Jinbe. Original collaboration merchandise will also be available.
The exhibit was developed through a collaboration between Toei Animation and the Grévin Museum. According to the museum, the character figures were produced in Japan under the supervision of both organizations to faithfully recreate their appearance, expressions, and proportions, while the surrounding environment was designed by Grévin to blend the world of ONE PIECE with a unique Parisian atmosphere.
To celebrate the opening, the first 50,000 ticketed visitors will receive an exclusive ONE PIECE CARD GAME promotional card featuring Monkey D. Luffy (OP13-001) with artwork created specifically for the collaboration. Children under five, who do not require an admission ticket, will receive a ONE PIECE x Grévin commemorative sticker instead. The promotional card will be distributed while supplies last.
Originally created by Eiichiro Oda in 1997, ONE PIECE has become one of the world’s biggest manga and anime franchises, with more than 600 million manga copies in circulation worldwide and 1,168 anime episodes released.
ONE PIECE also has Season 3 of the live-action THE BATTLE OF ALABASTA releasing in 2027 and a new LEGO special animation project releasing on September 29 coming to Netflix. A remake by WIT STUDIO is set to release in February 2027.
The Grévin Museum’s new One Piece installation marks the first permanent exhibition dedicated to a Japanese anime at the Paris attraction.
