Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 4 has revealed the Episode 13 (Episode 79 overall) preview ahead of its August 19, 2026 premiere. This will be the second episode of the second cour, which subtitled The Recapture Arc. A teaser trailer previously featured some of the scenes featured today as well.
The first part of the anime dominated our Spring 2026 awards, winning a total of 19 awards. Studio WHITE FOX is animating.
The season will consist of 19 episodes in total, divided over two consecutive cours / story arcs:
- The Loss Arc: 11 episodes, beginning on April 8, 2026
- The Recapture Arc: 8 episodes, beginning on August 12, 2026
Both arcs will air and stream as part of the same season, continuing the story following the events of Season 3. The anime continued without a seasonal break in Summer 2026.

The first season of the anime aired in 2016, adapting the light novel series by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichirou Otsuka . The series also announced 10 major projects for its 10th anniversary this year.
