Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S will begin airing on July 7th. The anime also received a new PV and key visual.
The new key visual for second season of Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid features main characters, as well as some new ones:
Kyoto Animation’s hit series aired its first season back in 2017. The announcement for the highly anticipated season 2 came last year. The main cast is returning, alongside some new additions such as Tomomi Mineuchi, who will be voicing Ilulu. Yuki Kuwahara is reprising her role as Tohru, with Mutsumi Tamura as Kobayashi and Maria Naganawa as Kanna. Daisuke Ono is back as Fafnir, while Yuichi Nakamura once again voices Makoto.
Tatsuya Ishihara and late Yasuhiro Takemoto are both listed as directors for season 2. Takemoto directed season 1 and the currently airing short specials but died in the KyoAni arson attack in 2019. Miku Kadowaki is doing character designs, while Nobuaki Maruki is a chief animation director.
Crunchyroll, the English licensor for the anime, describes the plot as:
Miss Kobayashi is your average office worker who lives a boring life, alone in her small apartment–until she saves the life of a female dragon in distress. The dragon, named Tohru, has the ability to magically transform into an adorable human girl (albeit with horns and a long tail!), who will do anything to pay off her debt of gratitude, whether Miss Kobayashi likes it or not. With a very persistent and amorous dragon as a roommate, nothing comes easy, and Miss Kobayashi’s normal life is about to go off the deep end!
