The final 5th episode of the “WE ARE ONE” video collection is now available! Just like all the others, it had both a live-action and animated segments. This one beautifully connected every previous story, while showing every Straw Hat joining moment in parallel! They’ve also released the full version of the TWILIGHT by RADWIMPS music video! You can watch the full episode on the official One Piece YouTube channel:
Mika Ninagawa directed this video, just like with the past 4. The live-action part once again cast most of the previous actors. They were Kora Kengo, Marie Iitoyo, Sota Fukushi, Kyoka, Susumu Terajima, Win Morisaki, Shuntaro Yanagi, Reina Minai and Tomoko Yamaguchi. Meanwhile each of the voice actors also reprised their roles as the characters. The theme song “TWILIGHT” by RADWIMPS was present, just like in past 4 episodes. They were:
- Zoro and Sanji in Davy Back Fight
- Powerful women characters
- Law, Corazon and Doflamingo backstory
- Straw Hats farewell to Vivi
Eiichiro Oda has also sent a special message to fans following the Volume 100 release! In addition, they’ve also released the full version music video for the TWILIGHT by RADWIMPS song.
It’s really awesome how well the theme song fit every single episode! This was the final one in the series, which was itself a project to commemorate One Piece’s 100th manga volume and 1000th anime episode. The 2nd one revealed Yamato’s voice actress to be Hayami Saori! The farewell between Vivi and the Straw Hats was also recently highlighted in the one-shot chapter by Nisekoi author Naoshi Komi! It’s nice to see One Piece getting the attention ahead of the milestones, and this episode truly delivered the “WE ARE ONE” emotion with the Straw Hat joining moments.
