After the season 2 finale that aired on September 21, 2021, “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” (“Tensura”) movie was officially announced. The movie is set to premiere in Fall 2022.

What is Tensura
“Tensura” is an anime adaption of the light novel by Fuse. What’s more, as of now, the novel has 18 volumes with the 19th one coming out on October 29, 2021. It follows the story of how Mikami Satoru reincarnates to another world as a slime monster! He eventually obtains the name Rimuru and begins his quest to create a world that’s welcoming to all races.
8bit studio is handling the animation production. As of now, the anime has 48 episodes split across 2 seasons. It also has a spinoff anime titled “The Slime Diaries: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime”
