Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation returned with part after a 2-season break, and episode 12 introduced an interesting new character. The trio carried on with their travel back home, but they quickly learned they’ll need a lot of money to be able to continue. Studio Bind already set high standards for the production quality in Part 1, and the anime is still a visual treat.
Hitogami
As Rudy pondered on how to overcome the new delay, Hitogami (Human God) came to him again in his sleep. Although he doesn’t trust him, he does listen to what he says. He’s told to buy some food and walk through the back alleys, which eventually is the reason he even meets the new character. Their meeting this time was short, but it would lead Rudy to getting something that will probably be a big factor in his future power scaling. An interesting fun fact is that Rudy and Gintoki are both voiced by Tomokazu Sugita, while Kujira voices Hitogami and Otose. Gintama fans must have noticed!
Kishirisu Kishirika
The Great Empress of the Demon Realm made an appearance in front of Rudy, and she’s an… eccentric character. He first saw her begging for food with no success, and gave her the things he’d bought. As we know, their encounter wasn’t really an accident, but Rudy didn’t believe her when she said who she was. He thought it was just a child playing around, and he decided he’d go along with it. When she said she’d grant him a wish, he asked for several impossible things, but in the end there was only one thing she could give him. A demon eye for himself.

Rudy’s New Power
The ‘wish’ he got from Kishirika allows him to see a little bit ahead in time. It only took about a week for him to adapt to it enough to beat Eris, and it will be more useful as he gets stronger. The only question is, if Hitogami knew it would happen, what is he planning for Rudy and how strong does he need him to be. Right now, he’s still nowhere near Ruijerd’s level, although he did give it a shot.
Mushoku Tensei Episode 13 Release Date
Mushoku Tensei ended with the new character Gallus, who Rudy saved with his foresight earlier in episode 12, appearing again and overhearing their discussion. He says he’s been looking for Rudy to thank him, but his name is Gallus Cleaner, and he might have some way to help them earn money without selling anything. Episode 13 will be titled “Missed Connections” and premiere next Sunday on October 10 at 24:00 JST. Funimation streams the show internationally.
