Episode 10 of Arifureta season 2 has shown that the situation in the capital is worse than we expected. The heroes are on their own, not knowing that the enemy now controls the whole order of the knights.

Shizuku and the other suddenly hear a disturbing sound, making all of them gather in one place. The news regarding the demon’s attack in the royal capital finally reached them. As their leader, Kouki decided that they should fight the demons as soon as possible, but Eri said that they should regroup with the knights first. All of them agreed, unaware that they will regret it later. The knights suddenly turned their blades against the heroes, and all of them have been stabbed, including Shizuku. All of them are in pain, not knowing if they will make it out alive. And at that moment, Shizuku realized that Eri was connected to that particular scheme, that’s why she suggested regrouping with the knights first. Now, their only hope is for Hajime and his party to save them. Though Yue and Shea are already inside the royal capital, they are not yet making contact with these heroes.
Even though Yue and Shea didn’t appear here, it was already a given in the previous episode that they are fighting monsters and demons who are trying to invade the royal capital, so they don’t have time to look for the heroes. Kaori and Liliana also didn’t make an appearance in this episode, but we know that they are trying to find Shizuku. As for Tio and Aiko, they are busy taking care of the enemies inside the church. Lastly, Hajime is in the middle of the most challenging fight for him so far, a battle against God’s Apostle, Noint.
Well, Hajime is still the victorious one between him and Noint. Thus, he acquired an “Age of God” magic inside the Divine Mountain. This ability to transfer a soul to another vessel to keep the owner of the soul alive is quite handy. Looking back on all of the events that have happened so far in the anime, whenever Hajime acquires a new power from a dungeon, it means that something bad will happen and he always used the power he just acquired to save the day. Will we keep going in this direction?
To know the answer, just stay tuned to the anime. The episode ended with Shizuku falling to the ground as she sees Eri laughing like a maniac.
