The Devil is a Part-Timer Season 2 Releases Episode 1 Preview

The highly-anticipated season 2 of The Devil is a Part-Timer (Hataraku Maou-sama) has released a preview for episode 1. The anime’s second season is animated by Studio 3Hz and directed by Daisuke Tsukushi. The first episode will premiere on July 14 at 23:30 JST and will be available to watch on Muse Asia, Bilibili, Crunchyroll, Disney+ in select regions.

In further celebration of the premiere of The Devil is a Part-Timer Season 2, the cast held a special program in which they shared their feelings and experiences when it comes to the second season’s production. In addition, the voice casts Yuuki Ono (Alciel) and Hiro Shimono‘s (Lucifer) have introduction teasers posted on Twitter. Lastly, a monthly radio show will be prepared.

The Devil is a Part-Timer Season 2 will begin in the light novel’s volume 3 which Muse Asia describes:
“In the parallel of Ente Isla, they were the Overlord and the Hero. But in modern-day Tokyo, they are hardworking employees of the modern world under new identities, Sadao Maou and Emi Yusa. Along with his two confidants at the Overlord’s Castle, and a loving high school girl, Chiho, Maou is getting used to life in Japan, while also struggling with the rough economic times.

One day, a mysterious little girl appears and the Overlord’s Castle is in turmoil! The Overlord’s Castle is tasked with raising a child, while visitors from Ente Isla keep coming in. They also have to work to support the people living in the Overlord’s Castle, which is a miserable six-mat room! And so the part-timer Overlord’s folksy fantasy unfolds once again in the second season of the anime!
