Aoi Koga (Voice of Kaguya-sama) Cuts Her Hair And Donates It To Charity

On her official Twitter account, the voice actress Aoi Koga revealed that she has cut her hair in order to donate it, which is something she had wanted to do for a long time.

I cut my hair! I made a hair donation, something I always wanted to do.
This is the shortest I’ve had it in 2.3 years? I am very impressed with it
Hair-san, please make someone smile.

The other part of the tweet says that she has opened an Instagram account. She also made a post there about the donation, where she said that it’s meant for free wigs for children who lost their hair due to illness or accidents. She said she was nervous, but the hairdresser carefully explained it and even let her make the first cut herself!

Aoi Koga is most known for voicing Shinomiya Kaguya in Kaguya-sama: Love is War. From the shows I’ve watched, she also voiced Eruru in Cautious Hero, as well as one of the unlucky Kamado family members from Demon Slayer. She just celebrated her birthday a few days ago (August 24th). That was also the day she made her Instagram account, which is why her first post there is an image of a cake.

Although she looks just as good with shorter hair, huge respect for what she did! Can’t wait to hear her as Kaguya again!
