Nights with a Cat anime released a collaborative short commercial video with Inaba Petfood Corporation’s cat food Ciao Churu. With the product’s commercial song “Churu Shiyo,” the video available on YouTube not only features Kyuryuga, but also depicts other cats in the anime style. They include feline family members of the anime’s voice actresses, Ayahi Takagaki (Kyuryuga) and Atsumi Tanezaki (Pi-chan), and director and scriptwriter Minoru Ashina’s cat.
Ayahi Takagaki updated her blog on September 15 with a photo of her cat named Fiore/Fiole licking Chiao Churu along with a screenshot of the commercial which shows the animated version of her pet. She describes her family member’s commercial video debut as “a real big event for Takagaki family.” She calls him Fu-chan.
On the same day, Atsumi Tanezaki also updated her Twitter with a photo of her cat Celeb/Serebu.
Minoru Ashina’s Edmond Honda, whom he calls Ed-san, is licking a Chiao Churu which is kidney-disease friendly and available only at hospitals according to his tweet.

Nights with a Cat is a manga essay written and illustrated by Kyuryu Z, and published by KADOKAWA. The series has 3 compiled volumes as of April 28, 2022. Studio PuYUKAI (Isekai Quartet series) is producing the anime with Minoru Ashina‘s direction and scripts.
