The preview for episode 3 of the More Than A Married Couple, But Not Lovers anime adaptation is now out. The episode is set to air on Sunday, October 23. Akari and Jiro will face yet another challenge, as Akari decides to gift Minami with a homemade lunch. Jiro is forced to take part in this peculiar operation but he ends up being impressed by Akari’s dedication. However, when the time comes, Akari is so nervous that she is unable to move.
Hideki Hiroshima is directing the upcoming episode, while Naoko Marukawa is writing the script. Takao Kato did the storyboard. Maiko Okada is credited as the chief animation director. Studio Mother is animating the adaptation of Yuki Kanamaru’s manga. The main cast includes:
- Saori Onishi as Akari Watanabe
- Seichiro Yamashita as Jiro Yakuin
- Saki Miyashita as Shiori Sakurazaka
- Toshiki Masuda as Minami Tenjin
Crunchyroll is steaming the anime. Anime-Planet describes the plot as:
In a society where high school students are matched with partners for “marriage training,” third-year Jirou Yakuin is assigned to Akari Watanabe, a “gyaru” who couldn’t be more different from him. However, the top ten performers are allowed to switch partners, so the disparate duo play the part of a perfect couple in an attempt to land their respective crushes.
