Black Clover manga will be on short hiatus until November 28, as announced in today’s Weekly Shonen Jump #50/2022 issue. The manga will skip two issues, this one and the upcoming one, but is set to return at the end of the month with issue #52.
Yuki Tabata’s Black Clover manga has been being serialized weekly in the Shonen Jump magazine since 2015. The latest, 331st chapter titled “Black Clash” was released on November 6 and is available on Shueisha’s Manga Plus website in English. Viz Media, the English licensor for the work, describes the plot as:
Young Asta was born with no magic ability in a world where magic is everything. In order to prove his strength and keep a promise with his friend, Asta dreams of becoming the greatest mage in the land, the Wizard King!
The manga received an anime adaptation by studio Pierrot in 2017. The anime ran until 2021 and ended after 170 episodes. A movie titled Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King revealed a trailer last month. Before Pierrot’s adaptation, the work received a special episode for Jump Festa 2016 by studio I.Gzwei.
