Classroom of the Elite revealed another trailer and a new key visual for the upcoming Season 2. The second season will begin airing on July 4 and will be followed by the third season in 2023. Studio Lerche is animating the adaptation of Shogo Kinugasa’s light novel.
The trailer features the opening theme song by ZAQ, titled “Dance in the Game“. Mai Fuchigami is singing the ending theme, titled “Hitoshibai“.

Before revealing the second trailer, Classroom of the Elite Season 2 updated the key visual weekly until it features all of the main characters. The last addition was Kei Karuizawa. The main cast for the Classroom of the Elite Season 2 anime includes:

Rie Takahashi is joining the cast of the second season as Hiyori Shiina, along with Soma Saito who will be voicing Miyabi Nagumo.
Season 2 is also getting a Blu-ray and DVD release on October 26, 2022. According to the episode listing, this season will have 13 episodes. The announcement video for it is available:
The anime is based on a light novel written by Shogo Kinugasa and illustrated by Tomose Shunsaku. The story is split into high school years. Year 1 was serialized from May 2015 until September 2019 and compiled into 14 volumes. The sequel, Year 2 began in January 2020 and is still ongoing. Manga adaptations of both arcs are currently ongoing with Kawaisounako providing the art for Year 1 and Shia Sasane for Year 2.
