Crunchyroll Will Stream Dragon Ball Daima From October 11

Crunchyroll has announced that will stream the upcoming Dragon Ball DAIMA anime, and it will premiere on October 11, the same day as in Japan. It will be available in the United States, Canada, Latin America (including Brazil), Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, and Southeast Asia.

They also revealed an English-subbed trailer (you can watch the trailer without subtitles if the one below is unavailable due to the region restriction).

Dragon Ball DAIMA is directed by Yoshitaka Yashima and Aya Komaki, with series composition and scenario by Yuko Kakihara and animation character design by Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru. Some stills from the trailer can be seen below.

The anime recently introduced several new cast members, including:

  • Yumiko Kobayashi as Supreme Kai (Mini)
  • Fairouz Ai as Panzy
  • Koki Uchiyama as Glorio
  • Showtaro Morikubo as Gomah
  • Junya Enoki as Degesu
  • Yoko Hikasa as Dr. Arinsu

You can see most of them together with Goku on the show’s visual below (only Dr. Arinsu is not present).

Studio Toei Animation is in charge of the animation, and it will premiere with an extended episode. The highly anticipated Sparking! ZERO game will be released on the same day as well.

Crunchyroll describes the story for Dragon Ball DAIMA:
Due to a conspiracy, Goku and his friends are turned small. What sort of adventure awaits Goku, Supreme Kai, and the new characters Glorio and Panzy in this unknown world, the “Demon Realm”?
