Dragon Ball: Daima is debuting its English dub in an exclusive theatrical premiere, which will include the first three episodes of the anime. The theatrical release will be screened on November 10, 11, and 12 in hundreds of theaters across the US. Toei Animation and Fathom Events are teaming up for the three-day event and have also revealed the first English-dubbed trailer (may be region-locked):
Dragon Ball: Daima was announced in October of 2023. It will be the first Dragon Ball anime title to be released following Akira Toriyama’s death earlier this year. Toriyama worked on the story, which follows Goku and his friends who turn into children due to an evil attack.
Aya Komaki and Yoshitaka Yashima are directing the anime. Yuko Kakihara is in charge of the series composition and the script. Toei Animation is animating. Crunchyroll will be streaming the anime with English subtitles starting on October 11. The plot is described as:
Due to a conspiracy, Goku and his friends are turned small. What sort of adventure awaits Goku, Supreme Kai, and the new characters Glorio and Panzy in this unknown world, the “Demon Realm”?
