Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End announced on Thursday that voice actress Mariya Ise is joining the anime as Serie. The series’ official website describes her as a great mage composed of overwhelming knowledge and strength. Additionally, she covers almost all types of magic and is the founder of the Continental Magic Association. The character will make her debut in episode 21, which is slated to premiere on Friday, February 2.
Studio Madhouse (A Place Further Than The Universe) is animating the series with Keiichiro Saito (Bocchi the Rock!) as director. Tomohiro Suzuki (One Punch Man) is the scriptwriter, Evan Call (Violet Evergarden) is the music composer, and Reiko Nagasawa (takt op. Destiny) is the character designer. The cast includes:
