Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End TV anime revealed an additional cast member for the series: Daisuke Hirakawa as Sein’s older brother. He is a priest recognized by the Holy City as the best priest in the region. Both him and Sein will appear in episode 13 of the anime which is slated to premiere on Friday, December 1.
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End TV anime is based on the manga written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. Studio Madhouse (A Place Further Than The Universe) is animating with Keiichiro Saito (Bocchi the Rock!) as director, Tomohiro Suzuki (One Punch Man) as the scriptwriter, Evan Call (Violet Evergarden) as the music composer, and Reiko Nagasawa (takt op. Destiny) as the character designer. Atsumi Tanezaki is voicing the titular character Frieren, while Yuichi Nakamura is voicing Sein.
Daisuke Hirakawa is a voice actor known as Noriaki Kakyoin from Jojo’s Bizzare Adventures Part 3, Enmu from Demon Slayer, Frankenstein from Noblesse, Sampo Koski from Honkai: Start Rail, Rei Ryugazaki from Free!, Laito Sakamaki from Diabolik Lovers, Susabi from Onmyoji, and Courier from Arknights.
