Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Manga Goes on Indefinite Hiatus

The Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End manga series announced that it will be going on an indefinite hiatus. The announcement was revealed at the end of Chapter 130 of the series, which was released in the 24th issue of Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday on May 8. The magazine did not mention the reason behind the hiatus or when the manga would return.

The Frieren manga series has a history of taking breaks. Its most recent one is that it returned after a one-month hiatus on April 24 for the magazine’s combined 22nd and 23rd issue. For now, the series is available to read via Sunday Webry, Viz Media, and the Shogakukan Comic website.

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is a manga by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. It began serialization in 2020 in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday and currently has 13 compiled tankobon volumes. An anime adaptation by Madhouse aired from September 2023 to March 2023, and is streaming on Crunchyroll and Muse Asia in select regions.
