Episode 26 of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End has released its preview images and trailer. The episode titled “The Height of Magic” is slated to air on Friday, March 8. Lawine and Kanne are narrating the preview video. The official website describes the upcoming episode as follows:
The replicas of the people who entered the king’s tomb were created by Spiegel, a demon from the mythical era who lives in the royal tomb. Frieren and Fern are having a tough time fighting against Frieren’s replica in order to defeat Speigel. Meanwhile, Denken, Lawine, and the others fight against the rest of the replica. However, Sense’s clone rages.
Studio Madhouse (A Place Further Than The Universe) is animating the series with Keiichiro Saito (Bocchi the Rock!) as director. Tomohiro Suzuki (One Punch Man) is acting as the scriptwriter, Evan Call (Violet Evergarden) as the music composer, and Reiko Nagasawa (takt op. Destiny) as the character designer. Atsumi Tanezaki (Anya Forger from Spy x Family) voices the titular character Frieren, Kana Ichinose (Suletta Mercury from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury) as Fern, and Chiaki Kobayashi (Gabimaru from Hell’s Paradise) as Stark.

After the party of heroes defeated the Demon King, they restored peace to the land and returned to lives of solitude. Generations pass, and the elven mage Frieren comes face to face with humanity’s mortality. She takes on a new apprentice and promises to fulfill old friends’ dying wishes. Can an elven mind make peace with the nature of life and death? Frieren embarks on her quest to find out.
