The official website for Goblin Slayer Season 2 lists the season for 12 episodes over three separate Blu-Ray and DVDs. The season premiere aired yesterday and is available to watch on Crunchyroll with English subtitles in the following countries: United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Netherlands, Scandinavia, Latin America and Russian-speaking territories.

Takaharu Ozaki was the director for the first season and returns this time as the chief director with Misato Takada as director. Hideyuki Kurata reprises his role in handling the script and series composition for the season with Kenichiro Suehiro back as the music composer for the series. However, Hiromi Kato will be taking on the staff role of character designer, previously held by Takashi Nagayoshi. Studio LIDENFILMS is taking over the animation production for studio WHITE FOX this season.
The main cast is reprising their roles from the first season. Yuichiro Umehara returns as Goblin Slayer and the same for Yui Ogura as Priestess. Nao Touyama is returning as High Elf Archer, Tomokazu Sugita as Lizard Priest, Maaya Uchida as Guild Girl, Youko Hikasa as Witch, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Spearman, Yuka Iguchi as Cow Girl, and Yūichi Nakamura as Dwarf Shaman. Mariya Ise is joining the cast this season as Wizard Boy.
Goblin Slayer is based on the light novels written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatsuki. The series originally started online until the first volume was published under GA Bunko on February 15, 2016. Since then, the series has released a total of 16 volumes, 15 in English (licensed by Yen Press). Goblin Slayer currently has over 10 million copies in circulation, including manga and light novel spin-offs.
