The English branch of VTuber agency Hololive finally opens up a permanent audition page for aspiring talents in the community. The endeavor follows the latest developments across the VTuber agency. These include the debuts of the HoloX Generation and the Hololive English Council.
According to the registration page, interested applicants must be at least 18 years old or older. In addition, applicants must be able to deliver content continuously for a year, and stream at least three times a week.
Moreover, Hololive is also requesting its applicants to have a proven track record for content distribution, including but not limited to games, songs, and illustrations. Hololive promises its talents to be provided with an exclusive Live2D model, as well as rental of an iPhone for use of model tracking.
An Overview of Hololive English
The first batch of Hololive English talents debuted on September 12, 2020. The lineup, known as ‘HoloMyth’, consists of members Mori Calliope, Gawr Gura, Amelia Watson, Takanashi Kiara, and Ninomae Ina’nis.
Following this, Hololive English launched its newest project called ‘Project HOPE’. First announced on July 6, the project features its sole talent, the VSinger IRyS. She debuted officially on July 12, 2021.
Finally, a new Hololive English lineup was also announced on August 17, 2021. The new group, called the ‘Council’, officially debuted August 23, 2021. They include members Tsukumo Sana, Ceres Fauna, Ouro Kronii, Nanashi Mumei, and Hakos Baelz.
The Hololive English lineup remains one of the fastest-growing VTuber groups among Western audiences. This is evident across their various exposures, including at Anime NYC 2021 and FAN EXPO.
In addition, its members have also shown impressive statistics throughout their VTuber agency, including Gawr Gura and Amelia Watson breaching the million-subscriber count. Moreover, one of its talents, Mori Calliope, has also shown huge statistics on the music streaming platform Spotify regarding her large discography.
