We released the results for the best anime of the week ranking this Friday, and Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation completely dominated week 10 of Fall 2021 with its 21st episode “Turning Point 2”. We saw the 2nd Great Power, Dragon God Orsted, appear, voiced by the one and only TsudaKen (Tsuda Kenjiro), and he gave our trio some serious trouble. The animation for the high-paced episode was insane, and it ended up ranking 1st with over 15%! This came in the same week as Demon Slayer debuted the Entertainment District Arc. Also, 86 EIGHTY-SIX came back after another delay. Those 2 had less votes combined than Mushoku Tensei this week.

Similarly, back in Winter 2021, Mushoku Tensei had a huge jump after its “Turning Point 1” episode. It was when the Teleport Incident first happened, and it was the first time a show ranked 1st over Attack on Titan: The Final Season. Later in that season, fans voted Mushoku Tensei as the 2nd best anime of the season, and 1st best new anime of Winter 2021. It ranked higher than some very popular sequels, such as Tensura and Re:Zero.
