The final 26th volume of Rifujin na Magonote’s Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation light novel is releasing on November 25 along with a special book, which has revealed the cover drawn by the novel’s illustrator Shirotaka. The special book is commemorating the light novel’s completion and will feature interviews with the author and illustrator, as well as a chronology of Rudeus’ life. It costs 1430 Japanese yen ($10 USD), and you can check out the cover below:
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation light novel has been serialized in Media Factory’s MF Bunko imprint since 2014 with Shirotaka’s illustrations. The story was originally published as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website. The web novel ran from November 2012 to April 2015, while the light novel is set to end on November 25.
Mushoku Tensei also has a manga adaptation by Yuka Fujikawa, as well as an Eris spin-off manga, both of which are currently ongoing. The series received an anime adaptation by Studio Bind, which aired over two cours in 2021. The first cour aired in the Winter 2021 anime season and was voted Best New Anime, while the second aired in the fall season and was voted Best Anime of Fall 2021. The anime was also voted as the Best Anime of the Year for 2021.
The Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation anime will be getting a sequel – a second season, which recently revealed the first trailer and 2023 premiere date.
Seven Seas is publishing the light novel in English, while Crunchyroll streams the anime. They describe the story:
