VTuber agency NIJISANJI has opened up another round of auditions for its English male generation. The new application round banks on the success of its current English-speaking male VTubers, as well as its recent auditions in March of this year. The deadline for the application is set on August 28 at 11:59PM PDT or 3:59PM JST. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted after all of the applications have been processed.
According to the VTuber application guidelines, interested candidates must show eagerness to be an aspiring streamer, or have experience in streaming. In addition, while the candidate’s gender is no bar, talents are expected to carry out their streaming activities as a male character.
NIJISANJI English VTuber generations consist currently of six waves, namely LazuLight, OBSYDIA, Ethyria, Luxiem, Noctyx, and ILUNA. Two of its groups, Luxiem and Noctyx, are composed of all-male talents. The Luxiem wave is composed of Luca Kaneshiro, Shu Yamino, Ike Eveland, Mysta Rias, and Vox Akuma. Meanwhile, Noctyx is composed of Sonny Brisko, Uki Violeta, Alban Knox, Fulgur Ovid, and Yugo Asuma.
The success of the NIJISANJI English generation is evident from the recent financial report, which notes the viewership the new VTuber generations brough in, especially in terms of YouTube views. The report also noted that Nijisanji English livestreams are still contributing a large slice of the group’s revenue at around 51.8%, while 45.1% comes from merchandise and digital content.
