One Piece Day Dallas Wraps Up Successfully: Post-Event Report, Highlights & Photos

The ONE PIECE DAY Dallas – Card Game Celebration, hosted by Bandai, took place in the United States on March 8-9, 2025, bringing together fans for an unforgettable weekend filled with exclusive guest appearances, performances, and thrilling competitions. The event was the first international ONE PIECE DAY, and the event drew a passionate audience for the two-day celebration. Special Guest Appearances

  • Brina Palencia (English voice of Chopper) and Jason Liebrecht (English voice of Rob Lucci) hosted a special after-talk session following the ONE PIECE anime screening, offering fans exclusive insights into their voice-acting experiences. Palencia was there for Day 1, while Liebrecht was there for Day 2.

    Ryuta Koike (ONE PIECE anime producer) and Brina Palencia discussed behind-the-scenes stories about the recording process. Palencia reflected on Chopper’s growth:
    “His development has been incredible. Seeing how much stronger and more confident he is, more trusting than before, is amazing. Chopper healing people is him at his best, and it’s when I’m most proud of him.”

  • Hiroaki Hirata (Japanese voice of Sanji) traveled from Japan to perform live voice acting over both days, captivating the audience with some of his iconic lines. He live-read scenes from Episodes 30, 763, 825, 878, and 1061, including a scene of cooking for the Straw Hats and the legendary scene of Sanji’s farewell to Zeff and Baratie. He also read his scene with Uta in ONE PIECE FILM RED.

Live Musical Performances

  • Hiroshi Kitadani and Maki Otsuki, known for their iconic ONE PIECE anime theme songs, delivered high-energy performances on both days. Their performances included “We Are!” and “OVER THE TOP” by Kitadani, as well as “RUN! RUN! RUN!” and “memories” by Otsuki. Check out some photos from the performances below.

  • The grand finale on Day 2 featured an exclusive joint performance of “We Are!” by both Kitadani and Otsuki, and they also performed the Egghead Island theme songs “UUUUS!” (opening, Kitadani) and “Dear sunrise” (ending, Otsuki).

Exclusive ONE PIECE Card Game Announcements

  • A special campaign movie for the ONE PIECE CARD GAME premiered at the event, giving attendees a first look at exciting new developments in the franchise. The campaign movie was specially produced to commemorate the ONE PIECE CARD GAME Championship 25-26, and it features “I Had Some Help feat. Morgan Wallen” from Post Malone’s latest album F-1 Trillion. You can watch the video below.
  • The ONE PIECE CARD GAME Championship 25-26 Offline Regionals winners for Dallas were officially announced, with future competitions planned to be held around the world.
