The SHAMAN KING FLOWERS sequel anime has revealed its first trailer, along with information on additional voice cast. The anime is set to premiere in January 2024, with studio Bridge animating. Watch the trailer:
Joji Furuta is directing the anime, with Shoji Yonemura on the series composition. Mayuko Yamamoto is the character designer, Yuji Shibata is on the prop design, and Toshiomi Iizumi and Satoshi Mutsuda are in charge of the over soul designs. The new voice cast members include:
Ami Koshimizu as Luca Asakura
Kentaro Ito as Daikyo Oboro
Kenta Miyake as Ichihara Ryuji
Chihiro Ueda as Namaha
The main cast for the anime includes:
- Katsuyuki Konishi as Amidamaru
- Yoko Hikasa as Hana Asakura
- Sumire Uesaka as Numbrich Alumi
- Shun Horie as Yohane Asakura
- Michiko Kaiden as Gakko Ibuki
- Romi Paku as Men Tao
SHAMAN KING FLOWERS anime is based on the spin-off manga written and illustrated by Hiroyuki Takei. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Jump X from April 2012 to October 2014. Kodansha USA has licensed the manga in English, describing it as:
The action returns in this brand-new sequel to SHAMAN KING! Hana Asakura finds that being the son of Yoh & Anna Asakura isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, and his boredom has him itching for any kind of excitement.
