The previously announced Kaiko Sareta Ankoku Heishi (30-Dai) no Slow na Second Life anime adaptation revealed a teaser visual and staff information. The anime will premiere in January of 2023 and will be animated by Encourage Films (Is the Order a Rabbit?). The visual features Dariel and Marika:

The anime is based on the Kaiko Sareta Ankoku Heishi (30-Dai) no Slow na Second Life light novel written by Rokujuyon Okazawa and illustrated by Sage Joh. The series is currently being published under Kodansha’s Ranobe Bunko imprint. It hasn’t been licensed to English but the title can be translated as The Slow Second Life of the Retired Dark Soldier (in His 30s). The series also has a manga adaptation by Rurekuchie, which is currently ongoing in Monthly Young Magazine.
The plot follows Dariel, a 30-something dark soldier who was fired from his position due to his inability to use magic. even though he was a part of a demon army. He decides to start over and moves to a village where he is able to use his abilities to help others with their requests. And so, his slow second life begins.
