How does one understand something that’s completely at odds with oneself? How does one comprehend the feelings of beings bound by finite time when one’s time is infinite? For the elven mage Frieren, these questions are a daily struggle. Long after her party slayed the Demon King and went their separate ways, they’re reunited right before their leader, the hero Himmel dies. After her teary goodbye to him, she realizes that she knows little of what humans feel or how they live, so she sets out to understand the world of men and the passage of time. With new companions and old routes, the things she looks for may finally present themselves to her.
