Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hashira Training Arc (Season 4) anime has revealed a new commercial trailer ahead of the show’s May 12 premiere. Ufotable is once again animating, and the first episode will be 1-hour long. Watch the new trailer below.
Haruo Sozotaki is returning to direct the Hashira Training arc after previously working on all of the other installments. Akira Matsushima is also returning as chief animation director and character designer. MY FIRST STORY and HYDE will perform the opening theme song “Mugen.” The first episode was already screened worldwide as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training- along with Episodes 10 and 11 of the Swordsmith Village Arc (in 4K and IMAX).
The anime began its 3rd season on April 9, and it ran for 11 episodes. Its first episode was an hour-long special, while the final one was also extended and ran for 70 minutes. In addition to the upcoming Hashira Training Arc, the anime still hasn’t covered the Final Battle Arc (Infinity Castle + Final Countdown arcs).
The Hashira Training Arc begins with volume 16 of the manga. VIZ describes the story for it:
Tanjiro goes to see the Stone Hashira, Himejima, who intends to prepare him for the battles to come. The training to become a Hashira—a high-ranking member of the Demon Slayer Corps—is intense and demanding, and earning Himejima’s approval seems impossible, but Tanjiro won’t give up! Meanwhile, the demon lord Muzan continues to search for the location of Nezuko and Ubuyashiki.
