The series went on to receive three light novel adaptations and two spin-off manga series, all of which were illustrated by Sukeno as well. An anime adaptation of Twin Star Exorcists aired for 50 episodes between 2016 and 2017. Tomohisa Taguchi directed the series with studio Pierrot handling the animation.

When Rokuro’s best friend Ryogo goes missing, Rokuro is forced to ask Benio for help to enter Magano, the realm of the evil Kegare, to rescue him!
