Kaiju No. 8 THE GAME revealed the second key visual for the project ahead of its 2025 release date. The game is developed by Akatasuki Games. It will be available on mobile through Google Play and Apple’s App Store, as well as on PC through Steam. The game was announced after Episode 10 of the anime with a teaser trailer and first key visual.

The main voice cast for the Kaiju No. 8 anime includes Masaya Fukunishi as Kafka Hibino/Kaiju No. 8, Wataru Kato as Reno Ichikawa, Asami Seto as Mina Ashiro, and Kengo Kawanishi as Soshiro Hoshina. We had the opportunity to talk with Masaya Fukunishi at this year’s Anime Expo, where he shared his experience voicing Kafka.
Kaiju No. 8 manga by Naoya Matsumoto began serialization in July 2020 on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ and has since been collected into 14 volumes as of this November. Viz Media licensed it in English.
The TV anime adaptation by Production I.G ran for 12 episodes from April to June 2024. It will be shown in theaters along with the Hoshina’s Day Off bonus episode from March 28, 2025. Season 2 TV anime is also currently in production and set to premiere next year.
