Netflix's One Piece Season 3 Live-Action Listed on WGAW Website for 2025-2026 Production

Netflix’s live-action adaptation of ONE PIECE just wrapped filming for Season 2, but Season 3 is already listed for 2025-2026 production on the Writers Guild of America West (WGAW) website.

Netflix had previously confirmed that Season 2 was coming in 2025 on their TUDUM website, but later deleted the information. While the streaming giant has yet to make an official statement regarding Season 2, the WGAW listing suggests that Season 3 is already in early development.

The Writers Guild of America West (WGAW) is a major labor union representing film, television, and digital media writers in the United States. The organization tracks and registers production credits for WGA-covered projects, including scripted TV series like Netflix’s ONE PIECE live-action adaptation.

WGAW listings often include production credits for upcoming seasons, as reported by industry professionals. These can proveide early indications of development, although WGAW has a disclaimer that some information is self-reported and may not be independently verified by them.

While not an absolute confirmation, these listings suggest that writing and production contracts are in place, reinforcing the likelihood of Season 3 moving forward.

According to the listing, Matt Owens and Joseph E. Tracz will both be returning as showrunners and executive producers. Both Tracz and Owens are established members of the WGA, further supporting the credibility of the listing.
