The Eminence in Shadow: Master of Garden (KageMasu) game revealed a trailer for its upcoming collaboration with the Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- franchise.
The collab will begin on February 20 and feature the additions of Emilia, Rem and Subaru, who will be facing the “Invisible Hand” (Petelgeuse). The following Re:ZERO voice cast members appear in the trailer:
- Rie Takahashi as Emilia
- Yusuke Kobayashi as Subaru Natsuki
- Inori Minase as Rem
- Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Petelgeuse Romanée-Conti

An additional announcement unrelated to the Re:ZERO collaboration was the addition of Zeta in her “Majin Form” as a new character in The Eminence in Shadow: Master of Garden (KageMasu). She will appear in the Shadow Fest event.
The game recently revealed a trailer animated by Studio Nexus, which animated the first two TV anime season of The Eminence in Shadow and is working on the upcoming movie.
The Eminence in Shadow (Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!) is a Japanese light novel series by Daisuke Aizawa. Enterbrain has been serializing it with Tozai’s illustrations since 2018. There is also a manga adaptation by Anri Skano. Yen Press is publishing both light novels and manga in English. The series received two TV anime seasons, which ran for a total of 32 episodes. The upcoming movie is titled The Eminence in Shadow: Lost Echoes.
The Eminence in Shadow: Master of Garden (KageMasu) is a turn-based RPG based on the light novel. The game was developed by Aiming Inc, who also published it in Japan. Crunchyroll Games published the game worldwide in November 2022, with supported platforms including iOS, Android, and PC. They describe it on the play store:
