DEATH NOTE Killer Within game revealed new roles in the latest trailer, with the additions set to arrive in Summer 2025. The game was released by Bandai Namco Entertainment on November 5, 2024, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
In matches of up to ten players, participants are divided into two sides: Kira and his followers, and L’s investigation team. Kira’s group aims to eliminate targets using the Death Note, while L’s team works to uncover Kira’s identity and secure the notebook. Players take on roles represented by pawn-like figures like those seen in the original Death Note series.

Bandai Namco Entertainment made the announcement at its latest Summer Showcase. Other announcements included the My Hero Academia: All’s Justice new game, as well as the first trailer for Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree. You can follow the program below.
Death Note (stylized as DEATH NOTE) is a Japanese manga series written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata. It was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2003 to 2006, ending with a total of 12 volumes. The series was adapted into a 37-episode anime by MADHOUSE, directed by Tetsuro Araki, airing from 2006 to 2007.
It has also inspired live-action films, a TV drama, and two one-shot manga sequels, later collected in Death Note: Short Stories (2021). A new live-action adaptation was also announced in 2022. DEATH NOTE is licensed in English by Viz Media, which describes the story of the first volume:
