What’s Watanare About?
Renako Amaori was gifted with a surplus of positive traits, but her introverted and socially awkward personality inhibited her relationships. After graduating from middle school with nothing but lonesome memories, Renako decided to forsake her Bocchi-like life. Before her high school debut, Rena-chi forced herself to become a normie and completely revamped her appearance. And to her surprise, it works! Rena-chan quickly integrates into her new school’s most popular social group (even if she struggles with the facade). But unfortunately for Renako, her transformation into the ideal girl leads to her newfound friends seeing her as more than just a platonic companion.
