Kill Blue revealed a new visual, main cast, and an April 2026 premiere date at Jump Festa 2026. Studio CUE is animating with Hiro Kaburagi as director.

The cast consists of:
- Juzo Ogami: Yuko Sanpei
- Noren Mitsuoka: Fuka Izumi
- Kotatsu Nekota: Shuichiro Umeda
- Tenma Tendo: Takeo Otsuka
- Chisato Shiraishi: Atsumi Tanezaki
- Eri Wanibuchi: Yumi Uchiyama
- Juzo Ogami (Adult): Shunsuke Takeuchi
The anime adaptation was announced last August. It will adapt the manga by Tadatoshi Fujimaki. The manga has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since April 2023. VIZ Media licensed it in English and they describe the story as:
Juzo Ogami’s a legend. Even among hit men, his name sends shivers down spines. There’s never been a job he couldn’t handle—that is, until the day he wakes up as a teenager! But how has his body transformed? To find out, he’ll have to infiltrate the one place he thought he’d never find himself in again…school!
