Chained Soldier Season 3 Anime Announced

Chained Soldier Season 3 anime was officially announced during a special event that took place in Japan today on August 2. Masafumi Tamura directed the second season at Passione x Hayabusa Film. 

The currently ongoing event brought along seven members of the voice cast, including:

• Yuya Hirose, voice of Yuki Wakura
• Akari Kito, voice of Kyoka Uzen
• Yume Miyamoto, voice of Himari Azuma
• Mari Hino, voice of Shushu Suruga
• Hina Tachibana, voice of Nei Okawamura
• Maaya Uchida, voice of Tenka Izumo
• Fuuka Izumi, voice of Yakumo Ezo

Yohei Takemura, the manga artist, also shared the announcement on X with an illustration, saying: “Thanks to everyone’s support, Season 2 of the anime Chained Soldier was a huge success, and a third season has officially been confirmed!”

Chained Soldier is based on the manga by Takahiro and Yohei Takemura, currently serialized on Shonen Jump+. Season 2 continues to adapt the series with animation production by Passione in collaboration with Hayabusa Film.

Masafumi Tamura directed the second season, with series composition by Yasuhiro Nakanishi and character designs by Keiya Nakano. The music was composed by Kohta Yamamoto, while sound direction was handled by Chikako Yokota. The anime previously teased the continuation with a special video featuring Varvara Pilipenko (CV: Yui Ishikawa).

Season 2 is currently streaming worldwide on HIDIVE, MUSE, and Aniplus.
