MARRIAGETOXIN anime revealed the Episode 4 preview images and synopsis, ahead of the episode’s April 28 release. Studio BONES Film is handling the animation production, which premiered on April 3. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime. Following the previous encounter with a Water Master, Gero will now be facing a Sound Master in his new job.

Gero takes a new job guarding Shiori Ureshino, the heiress to a major corporation, and goes undercover as a student at her university. Gero has never been to university before, and he’s excited for all the new experiences it will bring, like going to parties and attending class. But his fun campus life ends abruptly when an assassin targeting Ureshino ambushes them at school. Gero does his best to keep his client safe while maintaining his cover as a student, but Genya Naruko, a Sound Master, plans to end the heiress’s life.
The voice cast for the anime includes:

The anime is directed by Motonobu Hori, who is known for Carole & Tuesday and Metallic Rogue. Serving as Chief Animation Director and Character Designer will be Kohei Tokuoka, who served as Chief Animation Director for SK8 the Infinity and as Character Designer and Chief Animation Director for The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity. Studio BONES Film is known for animating two ongoing hit titles, My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON and Gachiakuta.
Official synopsis:
For centuries, the deadly arts have been perfected by those known as the Masters. Among them, the
Poison Masters of the Five Great Families hold the most fearsome power and influence. Hikaru Gero, heir
to the Poison Masters’ Gero Family, has lived his entire life in the underworld, far removed from love or
marriage.
But when the Gero Family head decrees that Hikaru’s sister must bear an heir to preserve the bloodline –
