Fate/Grand Order has launched its newest main story chapter, Part ???: The Ever-Turning Dial of Nostalgia – Past Chaldea, introducing the mysterious new 5-Star (SSR) Servant End of the World Archer with a new animated trailer by CloverWorks.
The new Servant debuts alongside the chapter’s release on June 3 and is currently featured in the Past Chaldea End of the World Archer Pickup Summon. While the character’s True Name remains hidden as ???, Type-Moon and Lasengle revealed that the Servant was designed by manga artist Pochi Iida (The Elder Sister-Like One) and voiced by Hina Yomiya (Anna Yamada in The Dangers in My Heart).
The mystery around the Servant appears to be a major part of the chapter. Even the official Noble Phantasm showcase video avoids revealing the character’s identity, listing the Servant simply as “End of the World Archer ???.”
Along with the chapter launch, Fate/Grand Order released a new TV CM Trailer for Past Chaldea, animated by CloverWorks. The studio’s credits for the project include storyboard and direction by Takumi Ishikawa, with the animation production handled entirely by CloverWorks.
The commercial features by the theme song “Can You Choose Life?” (Inochi wo Eraberu ka), performed by Nona*. The track was written and composed by Tomoya Tabuchi of UNISON SQUARE GARDEN, arranged by R・O・N. You can watch the trailer below.
To celebrate the chapter’s release, players can also obtain a smartphone wallpaper featuring End of the World Archer by sharing the chapter’s special website through social media.
