BanG Dream! YUME∞MITA revealed the preview for Episode 8 on Tuesday. The episode is titled “Gold Star” and premieres on Thursday, August 6 at 11:00 PM JST. Daiki Uchida is directing the episode while Kenta Sasaki is in charge of the storyboard, and the scriptwriter is Yotsuji Haibuchi. NICHICALINE is animating the series with Osamu Nobusawa and Mochipuyo on character designs.
The synopsis of the episode is as follows:
There is a desire to help.
But that alone isn’t enough.
By the time you realize it, it might already be too late—
Mugendai Mewtype (Yumemita) members consist of five female VTubers: Nakamachi Arale (vocals), Miyanaga Nonoka (lead guitar), Minetsuki Ritsu (rhythm guitar), Fuji Miyako (keyboard), and Sengoku Yuno (DJ). This is also the only band among the 10 main bands in the franchise that doesn’t have a bassist or a drummer.
Muse Asia describes the series as:
